HTTC B.V. attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy statement we explain clearly and transparently which personal data we process, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have. In doing so we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you submit a request through the quotation form on this website, we process the details you enter:
We use this data to assess your request, draw up a quotation and contact you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When the form is submitted we also store the IP address from which the request was sent. We do this in order to recognise misuse of the form, such as spam; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a properly functioning form. The IP address is anonymised after 30 days.
To prevent the form from being misused by automated programs, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3. Based on your behaviour on the page, Google assesses whether you are a human being. For this purpose your IP address and information about your browser and your use of the page are sent to Google. We only see the outcome of that assessment, not the data itself. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a usable form without spam. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply to this use.
A request is stored on the website and sent to our mailbox as an e-mail. If your request does not lead to an assignment, we delete the data no later than 12 months after the request. If your request does lead to an assignment, we keep the data as described below under "Customers".
In order to carry out assignments, such as forwarding, customs formalities, packaging and training, we process the data of our customers and their contact persons:
The legal basis is the performance of the contract and, for invoices and administration, our legal obligation. We keep this data until 2 years after the end of the contract. Data covered by the statutory tax retention obligation, such as invoices, is kept for 7 years. Where other legislation, such as customs legislation, prescribes a longer period, we observe that period.
From our suppliers and their contact persons we process name and address details, telephone number, e-mail address and bank account number, in order to perform the contract and for our administration. We keep this data until 2 years after the end of the contract, and data covered by the statutory tax retention obligation for 7 years.
This website places functional cookies that are necessary to make the site work properly: pll_language remembers the language in which you are viewing the site, and the cookies beginning with cmplz_ remember the choice you made in the cookie notice. These cookies contain no personal data and are placed without consent. Exactly which cookies the website uses is set out in our cookie policy.
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use our website: which pages are viewed, for how long, with what kind of device and browser, and from which region. Google Analytics places cookies for this purpose. We use this information solely to improve the website. Google Analytics is only loaded after you have given consent for it in the cookie notice; the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw or change that consent at any time using the “Manage consent” button at the bottom of the website. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses, and the data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. In the course of this, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can also block Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on or by refusing cookies in your browser.
We only pass your data on to others where this is necessary for the purposes set out in this statement. We engage other parties for:
With parties that process personal data on our behalf we conclude a data processing agreement in order to safeguard the security of your data. Beyond that, we only pass your data on to others if the law obliges us to do so, for example if the police request data in the context of an investigation, or if you give written consent for it.
We arrange transport all over the world. In order to carry out an assignment it is often necessary to pass contact details on to carriers, agents and authorities in the country of destination, including outside the European Union. We only do so to the extent necessary for the performance of the assignment. In addition, data may end up with Google and Microsoft in the United States; both participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We only process personal data of persons under the age of 16 if written consent has been given for this by a parent, carer or legal representative, in so far as the law requires such consent.
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unlawful processing. For example, we have taken the following measures:
You have the right to inspect your personal data and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict the processing, object to the processing, and ask us to transfer the data you provided yourself to you or to another party. Where we process data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
